This policy describes the rules for ticket sales, refunds, and resale (P2P transactions) conducted via the platform. By purchasing or selling tickets on www.protickets.online, you agree to these terms.
1. Ticket Delivery
1.1. Tickets purchased directly from the platform are delivered electronically within 24 hours after payment confirmation to the e-mail address provided by the buyer and will become accessible to the Buyer only after this 24-hour period. This measure helps reduce fraudulent activities.
1.2. The delivery of electronic tickets is considered completed once the confirmation e-mail has been sent. The customer is responsible for ensuring that the e-mail address is correct and accessible.
2. Refunds for Purchased Tickets
2.1. Refunds for tickets purchased on the platform are subject to the event organizer’s refund and cancellation terms.
2.2. If the event is cancelled, postponed, or significantly changed, the buyer may request a refund according to the organizer’s policy.
2.3. The platform’s service fee/commission is non-refundable.
2.4. Refund requests must be submitted in writing to info@protickets.online within the deadlines set by the event organizer.
2.5. In case of P2P resale, if a ticket is invalid or already used, the buyer is entitled to a refund, and the seller will not receive the payout. Complaints must be submitted within 24 hours after the event date.
3. Commission Fees
3.1. For all ticket purchases, a commission fee applies:
€2.00 or 5% of the ticket price, whichever is larger.
3.2. For P2P resale transactions:
-
A €0.01 listing fee applies per ticket.
-
This fee also serves as the seller’s authentication.
-
Additional commission may apply if tickets are resold above their original purchase price (details displayed during listing).
4. P2P Ticket Resale
4.1. Sellers may list tickets for resale on the platform by uploading the ticket and providing all necessary purchase details.
4.2. The platform provides Seller Protection and Buyer Protection:
-
If a ticket sold by a seller is found to be invalid or non-functional, the seller will not receive payment for that ticket.
-
Buyer complaints must be submitted within 24 hours after the event date.
-
If no complaint is received within 24 hours, payment will be released to the seller.
4.3. Attempting to sell fake, stolen, or invalid tickets is strictly prohibited. Accounts involved in fraudulent activity will be permanently suspended, and related information may be submitted to law enforcement authorities.
4.4. Seller Cancellation Fee:
-
A seller may cancel a listed ticket sale no later than 6 hours before the event starts.
-
In such cases, a €2.00 cancellation fee applies and is charged to the seller.
-
If the cancellation is made less than 6 hours before the event, the ticket remains active and cannot be withdrawn.
4.5. P2P Restriction Before Event:
-
All P2P ticket sales and listings are temporarily suspended 24 hours before the event starts. No new listings or purchases can be made during this period.
5. Complaint Handling and Fraud Prevention
5.1. All complaints are reviewed individually and resolved within a reasonable period (usually 5–15 business days).
5.2. If fraud or unfair practices are detected from either the seller or the buyer, the platform reserves the right to:
-
Cancel the transaction
-
Withhold payment
-
Provide all relevant information to law enforcement authorities
6. Limitation of Liability
6.1. The platform acts as an intermediary between buyers and sellers in P2P transactions.
6.2. The platform is not responsible for the event itself, its cancellation, postponement, or quality. Responsibility lies with the event organizer.
6.3. In cases of organizer-related refunds, the platform will facilitate the refund process but cannot guarantee refunds outside of the organizer’s terms.
6.4. The platform’s liability in all cases is limited to the ticket price paid through the platform.
7. Settlement of Disputes
7.1. All complaints must first be submitted to info@protickets.online.
7.2. If a dispute cannot be resolved through direct communication, consumers may contact the Consumer Rights Protection Centre (PTAC) in Latvia or use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform (https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/).
